Detectively is operated by IT-MSP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10544919), trading as Detectively. We are registered for VAT under number 325 6740 01. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean IT-MSP LTD. You can contact us at info@it-msp.net.

Detectively is an online, browser-based detective mystery game. Each "case" is an interactive investigation in which you review fictional evidence, interview suspects and submit a verdict, typically within a 60-minute session. The game is provided for entertainment purposes only.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and make a purchase. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate registration information and a valid email address (used to confirm your account and send service messages).
• One account per person. You may not share, sell or transfer your account.

• Access to a case is purchased using a "game token". One token grants one attempt at one case.
• Prices are shown at checkout in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
• A token is consumed when you start a case. Refreshing or resuming the same attempt does not use an additional token, but a completed attempt cannot be replayed on the same token.
• Tokens have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are non-transferable.
• We may change prices and the tokens we offer at any time. Changes do not affect purchases already made.

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By purchasing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide. Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully completed.

Game tokens are digital content supplied for immediate use. By buying a token and starting a case, you ask us to begin supplying the digital content straight away, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once the content has been accessed.

This does not affect your legal rights if the content is faulty or not as described. See our Refund Policy for how we handle refunds.

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• attempt to bypass payment, access cases you have not paid for, or interfere with token or play limits;
• copy, reproduce, distribute, publish or share case content, solutions or "answers";
• reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source data, evidence or case logic;
• disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
• use automated tools to interact with the game.

All content within Detectively — including cases, storylines, characters, evidence, artwork, text, design and software — is owned by or licensed to IT-MSP LTD and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and play the cases you have paid for, for your own private entertainment. No other rights are granted.

All cases, characters, organisations, names and events in Detectively are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real persons (living or dead), companies or actual events is purely coincidental. Cases are not depictions of real crimes and are not real police materials.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of the service for maintenance, updates or operational reasons. Where a case you have a paid, unused token for becomes permanently unavailable, we will provide a replacement token or a refund of that token.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, attempt to defraud us, or misuse the service. Where we close an account for a serious breach, you may lose access to unused tokens without refund. You may stop using the service and request closure of your account at any time.

Detectively is provided for entertainment "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under law (including your statutory rights as a consumer). Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the "last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
